| Match Report | With a new team playing together, Ladies 2s started really well with chances coming in abundance. However, Frome started to break through our defence with their big hitters and halfway through the second half were 2 goals down. Defenders were being stretched and the midfield were working extremely hard to keep some of the Frome players at bay, but unfortunately a third was conceded before half time. WIth a few changes at half time, West Wilts looked more in control but Frome once again were putting together some great hockey. It was a fantastic last 15 minutes, with players winning balls in midfield and finally getting some shots on goal. So a final score of 5-0 was disappointing but overall there was so many positives to take from the game. Well played Ladies 2s... if we start next week where we finished off today and I am sure we will get some rewards. |
